Kentucky-born songwriter Sam Varga fuses the energy and wit of the emo scene he cut his teeth on as a kid with the craft and sonics of Nashville, bringing forth an alchemic blend of alt-country that’s an addictive kind of hurt. His debut album, “Shadow Work”, released in 2024, from the emo diaspora of Nashville, took the best of both worlds and announced a sound uniquely his own. This year's EP “The Fallout” brought forth an even further refined alt-country sound and lyrical wit, drenched in honesty and Nashville sound.
